Expatriate‍‍`s missing money recovered from airport

The Armed Police Battalion (APBN) has recovered Tk 3 lakh 51 thousand 160 of the missing Saudi expatriates from Sylhet Osmani International Airport.

A person named Khaled Mia has been arrested in this incident. He is the son of Mohammad Yusuf Mia of Rajnagar Upazila of Moulvibazar. Mofizul Islam, Osmani Airport Unit Additional Superintendent of Police, gave this information last Friday night.

He said that Zakaria and his three brothers from Saudi Arabia came to Sylhet airport on a Bangladesh Biman flight from Sharjah last Wednesday morning. At that time, while scanning the baggage at customs, Tk 3 lakh 51 thousand 160 disappeared along with Zakaria's wallet. Later, he complained to the Osmani International Airport office of APBN and the police started an investigation. Then the person who stole the wallet was identified. Later, a team from APBN's Osmani International Airport camp arrested Khaled from Rajnagar. After recovering the money, the expatriate was given his wallet with the money.
